Thomas Lee Spencer
I am pursuing a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering (B.S. and M.S., Georgia Institute of Technology). My research lies at the intersection of fluid dynamics, mechatronics, and biology. For this research, 3D printing is essential to recreate the complex biological structures enabling animals to accomplish advanced sensing tasks. I am also a student leader of the Invention Studio at Georgia Tech and have over 5 years of experience helping students create prototypes for research, class, and pleasure.
