Dr. Jariwala serves as the Director of Design & innovation for the School of Mechanical Engineering at Georgia Tech and is responsible for enhancing corporate support for the School's design courses and innovation activities. He supervises staff and students for the Georgia Tech Invention Studio, design facilities and the Capstone Design Expo. In addition to his administrative responsibilities, he mentors engineering design teams in the Capstone Design course and enjoys teaching Design Engineering courses in the School. Dr. Jariwala has over a decade worth of research experience in modeling, simulation, engineering design, and manufacturing process development, with research focus on design of polymer based micro additive manufacturing process. Dr. Jariwala has participated and led several research projects on advanced manufacturing and design funded by NSF, the State of Georgia and Industry sponsors.
